I-95 SHOWDOWN

New for 2025 is the I-95 Showdown, featuring competition in 8 select races at both Florence Motor Speedway and Southern National Motorsports Park. Drivers who elect to enter the Showdown and make the Final Round will receive an automatic provisional, comped entry fee and pit pass to both the South Carolina 400 and Thanksgiving Classic in November.

The I-95 Showdown championship winner will win $7,500, 2nd Place receives $2,500 and 3rd receives $1,000. The Championship banquet will take place on a cruise at the end of the year. The top three in points will receive a paid-for cruise, while discounted cruise tickets will be offered to crew and family members.

“This will be an exciting year of Late Model racing, and it gets even better with the creation of the I-95 Showdown. The success of Daytona 1 Beach Madness years ago at Myrtle Beach Speedway sparked interest throughout the entire season for drivers and teams. We believe the Showdown will bring back that excitement and create a buzz amongst the Late Model scene along the East Coast,” said Brian Vause, FMS General Manager. SNMP owner/operator Michael Diaz added, “We are gearing up for the upcoming season and very excited to partner with the team down at Florence. After discussions back and forth, it is refreshing to work with people that share the same passion and mindset on the growth of racing in the region.”

The I-95 Showdown kicks off with the 10th Annual IceBreaker at Florence Motor Speedway on Saturday February 8th.

Stay tuned for driver entry information.
